the food was pretty good. we got a small bossam and a bibimbap. they were both pretty good but the bottom of the bossam was mainly bone pieces, which i guess is to be expected. we got side dishes with a radish and regular kimchi as well. overall, the food was delicious.

Just had an awesome meal at Tosokchon — the tofu stew was out of this world! The flavors were so rich and just the right amount of spicy. The tofu was super soft and soaked up all the tasty broth. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and know what they're doing. The service was friendly and the place had a cozy vibe. If you love Korean food, you’ve got to try their tofu stew ????????

We got the small soondae, (17) dakdori tang, and (31) tofu kalguksu. Everything here was delicious and super filling. The tofu kalguksu was bigger than we expected (refer to the size reference of my hand vs the bowl lol). Perfect meal for a rainy day. Highly recommend this spot!

This is a place I often visit whenever I'm on a business trip to New York. When I miss my mom’s cooking, this spot always brings me comfort with flavors that feel like home. Today, I had the tofu kalguksu, with its light, soothing broth—perfect for those who prefer milder flavors. The staff’s warm smiles always lift my spirits too.

Best chicken feet I’ve ever had in the US! When my friend told that she had amazing chicken feet here I was skeptical since I’ve tried so many places and was always disappointed. But Tosokchon’s chicken feet are indeed FIRE! The spicy soup was so rich and full of aroma that I packed that ever was left home. The chicken feet were so tender and the meat was almost falling off from the bones. I can’t say enough about how tasty this dish is, I’ll come back very soon!

I loved eating at this restaurant. I ordered the spicy pork clay pot and it was filling and delicious, they even refilled my kimchi and pickled radish while I ate. This meal could easily have been $50 elsewhere and I spent less than $25 with tip. Honestly a steal. 10/10 do recommend.

Loved the menu of Korean comfort food and the cozy vibe. Noodle servings were huge and ddukbokki to share hit the spot.

Tosokchon definitely has some of the best korean food in manhattan. my friends and I went here once and I've also ordered from here and went here by myself multiple times now, their food is great. I've tried their 순대국 (soondae guk), 돼지국밥 (dwaeji gukbap), 제육볶음 (jeyuk bokkeum), 삼계탕 (samgyetang), 해장국 (hangover soup), 족발 (jokbal), and 칼국수 (kalguksu). every one of those dishes are great. Their service is pretty quick and the staff is friendly. The environment and interior is also really nice and welcoming. Would recommend.

Tosokchon was one of the places I had saved on google maps after I saw it on tiktok or reels. Finally got to try it and I thought it was pretty good! The portion size was amazing for the price and it came with two types of kimchi + rice. My friend said she was a bit disappointed by the pork in hers but mine seemed better? Maybe the consistency of the meat could be worked on. The only issues I had with my soup was that the soondae itself was kind of bland and just soggy (understandably since it's in a soup). But I've had better textured soondae in soondae soup before. Also, I wanted more 들깨 (not sure what this is in english) flavor in my soup.. However, service and atmosphere were nice! Had fun kpop music playing with a screen playing the music videos for the music which was fun to watch and talk about.

This is a solid no frills Korean restaurant for soups. I have been craving Korean soups and I had a friend tell me about this place. This place is a 4/5 because what they serve is good. However, I left almost wanting something a bit more. I'm not sure if it was the flavor or some other factor, but I wasn't 100% satisfied. You won't finish hungry though. My friend and I had plenty of leftovers even though both of us were starving at the beginning of our meal. I would still come back here if I wanted my fix, but I can't recommend that it will blow your mind.
